Airport “Manas” – Bishkek – Lake Issyk-Kul- Karakol – Djety-Oguz Gorge – Karakol – Altyn-Arshan Gorge – Karakol – Son-Kul lake – Tash-Rabat – Kochkorka – Chychkan Gorge – Arslan-Bob – Osh – Bishkek (by flight) – Ala-Archa National Park – Bishkek – Airport “Manas”.Tour program code: EAT-KGZ-3
This tour program is possible to realize only from the end of June to the middle of September.
Day 1: The Airport “Manas” – Bishkek (30 km)
Meeting at the international airport “Manas” in the early morning and transfer to hotel in Bishkek. Accommodation at the hotel. Breakfast at hotel. Afternoon sightseeing tour in Bishkek.
Day 2: Bishkek – Lake Issyk-Kul (280 km)
After breakfast transfer to Lake Issyk-Kul by the north shore. On the way visit “Burana Tower” and a museum under the open sky: petrogliphs. Accommodation at hotel.
Day 3: Lake Issyk-Kul – Karakol (150 km)
After breakfast drive to Karakol. Sightseeing tour in Karakol. Accommodation at guest house/hotel in Karakol.
Day 4: Karakol – Djety-Oguz Gorge (30 km) – Karakol
After breakfast transfer to Djety-Oguz Gorge (it means “Seven Bulls”). There are unforgettable red rock formations “Seven Bulls” and “The Broken Heart”. Hiking to mountains. Afternoon transfer back to Karakol.
Day 5: Karakol – Altyn-Arashan Gorge (35 km) – Karakol
After breakfast transfer to Altyn-Arashan Gorge (It means “hot springs”) on Russian jeep for individual or a passenger truck for big groups. Here you can take bath in natural hot springs and hike to beautiful mountains. Afternoon transfer back to Karakol.
Day 6: Karakol – Son-Kul lake (370 km)
After breakfast transfer to Son-Kul lake (3016 meters above the sea level) by the south shore of Lake Issyk-Kul. Accommodation in yurta (Kyrgyz national dwelling).
Day 7: Son-Kul lake – Tash-Rabat ( 280 km)
After breakfast drive to Tash-Rabat – caravan-saray on the Great Silk Road. It is located in Kara-Koyum Gorge (on the way to China border). Accommodation in yurta (Kyrgyz national dwelling).
Day 8: Tash-Rabat – Kochkorka (225 km)
Afternoon drive to Kochkorka. Accommodation at homestay.
Day 9: Kochkorka – Chychkan Gorge (330 km)
After breakfast transfer to Chychkan Gorge via Suusamyr Valley and Ala-Bel mountain pass (3184 meters above the sea level). Arrival in Chychkan gorge. Accommodation at a guest house.
Day 10: Chychkan Gorge – Arslan-Bob (350 km)
Breakfast. Transfer to Arslan-Bob (it is famous for its
natural walnut forests). On the way you can see the biggest hydro-electric station “Toktogul”
with the storage dam and the river Naryn. Accommodation at homestay.
Day 11: Arslan-Bob – Osh (200 km)
After breakfast transfer to Osh. On the way you can see the Uzgen’s minaret (XI C.) and mausoleums (X-XII C.). City tour in Osh. Accommodation at a guest house.
Day 12: Osh – Bishkek (by air)
After breakfast visit the biggest Osh bazzar. Afternoon transfer to the airport to fly to Bishkek (it takes 1 hour). Meeting at the airport “Manas” and transfer to hotel in Bishkek. Accommodation.
Day 13: Bishkek – Ala-Archa National Park (40 km) – Bishkek
All day hiking in Ala-Archa National Natural Park. This trip acquaints with the Kyrgyz National Nature Park “Ala-Archa”. It is situated 40 km away from Bishkek in the Kyrgyz Ala-Too mountain range at the height of 1600 m to 4860 m (“Korona” (Crown) Peak). The park’s best offerings are trekking and climbing in rocky, icy, spruce-clad canyons up to an elevation of almost 5000 m above the sea level. On the trekking route to the Adigene waterfall there is a cemetery of mountaineers from where you can also see Korona Peak. Other route is to Ak-Sai waterfall and glacier. In the afternoon back to Bishkek.
Day 14: Bishkek – Airport “Manas” (30 km)
Transfer to the airport “Manas” for the home flight.
