VISA TO KYRGYZSTAN

• Diplomatic missions of foreign countries in the Kyrgyz Republic

Foreign nationals or stateless individual may enter and exit the Kyrgyz Republic having a valid passport with a valid Kyrgyz visa according to the law of the Kyrgyz Republic “About the external migration”.

The entry visa to the Kyrgyz Republic can be obtained:
1) in any overseas diplomatic missions and consular offices of the Kyrgyz Republic;
2) upon arrival in the round-the-clock consular office at the international airport “Manas”.

In countries where there is no any diplomatic mission or consular office of the Kyrgyz Republic the entry visa can be obtained at the diplomatic mission of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the basis of the bilateral agreements.

The list of the countries of non-visa/ partly non-visa regime is attached in Annex 1.

I. Nationals holding any type of passport of the following countries dont need any visa to enter the Kyrgyz Republic for the period of their stay in the country:

Annex 1

Nationals holding all types of passports of the following 44 countries dont need any visa to enter the Kyrgyz Republic for the period up to 60 days according to the law “On introduction of visa-free regime for citizens of some countries for the period up to 60 days” was signed by the President of Kyrgyz Republic Almazbek Atambaev on July 24, 2012. On July, 27 the law on the visa-free regime” was officially published in the newspaper “Erkin Too” and came into force.

Nationals holding all types of passports of the following countries may obtain visa to enter the Kyrgyz Republic in the overseas diplomatic missions and consular offices of the Kyrgyz Republic or at the consular office at the airport “Manas” (near Bishkek) upon arrival on their personal request for the period up to one month, and are exempted from passport registration with the law enforcement agencies for the period up to 90 days:

Cost of visa support (for obtaining tourism visa) is $ 50 per person.

It takes up to 10 working days to arrange visa (except for days-off and holidays).

The following documents are required for arranging visa support: a copy of passport, information about the marital status, position and place of work, place of residence for the period of your temporary stay in Kyrgyzstan, place of obtaining visa and period of stay.

In case of refusal from the consular office of the MFA, you have to pay $ 20 per person.

Passport registration

A foreign citizen or a person without citizenship arriving in Kyrgyzstan for a period of more than 5 days must register his/her national passports or other identification documents within 5 days at the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kyrgyzstan via the inviting company.

The following citizens are exempted from passport registration according to the clause 5 of the article 8 of the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic “About foreign migration”:

– the heads of states and governments of the foreign countries, members of state, parliamentary and governmental delegations, arriving in the Kyrgyz Republic by invitation of the President, Parliament (Zhogorku Kenesh) and the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic, administrative and technical personnel of these delegations, members of families of the above-mentioned officials;

– members of crew of foreign military aircrafts, arriving in the Kyrgyz Republic in the established order;

– persons who are part of civil aircrafts crews, international airlines – while staying at airports, indicated in the operating air schedule;

– citizens of foreign countries provided in the Annex 2 if their stay in the Kyrgyz Republic doesnt exceed more than 60 days. In case of staying more than 60 days they must be registered;

– citizens of of the following countries who have visa-free regime if their stay in the Kyrgyz Republic doesnt exceed more than 60 days (for citizens of Russian Federation and Republic of Kazakhstan – 90 days). In case of staying more than 60 days they must be registered (for citizens of Russian Federation and Republic of Kazakhstan – 90 days).
